Five Loaves Food Pantry serves those in need from during our daylight saving time hours of 3:00-5:00pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. The pantry carries canned good, meat and dairy products in addition to non-food items.

Any person or familiy that needs food is welcome to free groceries from the pantry. If you need help putting food on your table, please give us a call at 719-691-8065.

Donations needed!

If you would like to donate non-perishable food or personal hygeine items to the pantry, please bring your good to one of the drop off locations: the church, McClave State Bank, McClave school or the Post Office in Hasty.

Also, did you know you can support the Five Loaves Pantry in McClave by shopping at Safeway? Through the Community Giving Card program at Safeway stores, you can purchase a card, pre-load with funds from cash, debit, credit, or check, then shop at Safeway. While you shop with this card, the Five Loaves Pantry receives 3-6% of the total cost of your purchase. Making A Difference at Five Loaves Pantry

Five Loaves Pantry was started three years ago by members of the McClave United Methodist Church in McClave, Colorado. One day an adult overheard one of the youth commenting to a friend, "I better eat up. I'm not sure when I will get my next meal." The comment led to a discussion about how the church could help those who were in need of food. The video tells the story of those who benefit, explains the pantry's services and offers viewers the opportunity to contribute to the cause.
